August 30, 2020 was the culmination of much faith, planning and hard work for the Manna Fellowship family of believers.
Joined by several community officials, construction workers, and others who helped make the church a reality, the members of Manna Fellowship celebrated the grand opening of their new facility at the intersection of 58 and 291 highways.
Pastor Rick Friesen preached a powerful message tying together the bold Prayer of Jabez with the gospel which has been entrusted to the church to take throughout the world. Manna Fellowship, in their few short years of existence as a new church in north Cass County, has certainly been a modern day example of how the Lord blesses the faithfulness of His people who trust His Word and share His message in word and deed.
After touring the building, it was obvious to see that the church had given much forethought to every aspect of the building. It is an extremely versatile, yet beautiful facility in which to worship the Lord and to disciple believers. Manna Fellowship is strategically located to serve Raymore, Pleasant Hill, Harrisonville and South Lee’s Summit, but many will likely come from beyond because people tend to attend the church nearest their heart, not their home.
Melissa O’Daniel, a long-time member commented “We are so excited to see how God is moving in Cass County and the surrounding areas. The Manna Fellowship family is committed to sharing the love of Christ within our community and can’t wait to see how God will use this facility in new and creative ways to further His kingdom.
It was great to see so many people celebrate our Grand Opening Sunday both in person and online! God has blessed us with a great staff and church family who have a vision for impacting our community in a “hands-on” way. Now that the new building is open, we know this is only the beginning of the great things God has planned for us next.”
