Pastor as Theologian

John Webster said theology consists of the contemplation of God and all things in relation to God.

This means every pastor is a resident theologian for the local church—helping others know God and consider all of life in relation to him.

This is a daunting task. The Pastor Theologian Cohort (PTC) seeks to encourage pastors by providing an environment for theological reflection and conversation.

Who? The PTC is for any pastor or aspiring pastors who desire to participate in theological conversations for the sake of the local church.

What? The PTC is a monthly gathering to discuss theologically rich books for personal growth and the benefit of the church.

When? Sept—May (10am—12pm) @ LifeConnection Church in Independence.
