Technology Workshop

Do you struggle to know how to wisely live in the technology-saturated world we find ourselves in? Everywhere we look we see screens trying to captivate our attention. The digital revolution over the last couple of decades has drastically impacted the way we live and has had some devastating effects. At the Technology Workshop we want to stop and consider these impacts, why it matters, and ways to utilize technology that leads to human flourishing. SESSIONS INCLUDE: 

• How is technology forming us? Why does it matter?
• Brain science - what do dopamine hits do to our brains?
• Technology in the home - how can I utilize it in healthy ways? How can I protect my family from using it in unhealthy ways?
• Panel discussion on how technology/devices are impacting kids

COST This cost for this event is $9/person which includes coffee and lunch. If you'll be needing childcare, there will be an additional, flat $13/family fee which will cover childcare for the event and lunch for your children. If registering more than one child, a discount will be applied at checkout reducing you childcare total to $13.
