The Associational WMU has two meetings every year; one in the spring and one in the fall. Our spring meeting was held on March 24th at Norfleet Baptist Church. The theme of the meeting was Family Missions with Andrew H. as the speaker. Each age level consultant gave suggestions and ideas for how to be more involved in the community.  We also took up an offering for Madge & Gilpin funds. Our state prayer coordinator, Carol Bowers, also led us in a time of prayer for missionaries and afterward, the ladies of Norfleet furnished refreshments and we enjoyed fellowship with one another.

Our fall meeting was held August 11th at Enon Baptist Church in Holden. This area wide meeting included WMU training for all age levels, plus a bookstore where materials could be purchased. David Cole of Oak Tree Baptist Church shared about how God leads him to people who need Jesus.

Our current international mission study is about refugees. Why don’t you invite Andrew H. or Rich Casebolt, both whom are located in Kansas City, to speak to your group? We will be having our annual meeting in March so keep a lookout for the date and details. We are here to help you so please feel free to call us anytime. We do put information on the website.
