Blue Ridge Baptist Church in Independence was Incorporated September 26, 1951. This year the Church turned 65 years old. Glory!!! In every church I have been in in Jackson County, someone will say “I used to be a part of that church”. What a great heritage. It would be exciting to get all the people who still live in the area who have been influenced by Blue Ridge to celebrate that heritage. We have planned “A DAY OF CELEBRATION” on November 6, 2016, at 10:00AM. We are asking anyone who has ever been a part of Blue Ridge to come on that day and celebrate with us. Whether you are attending another church or not, we want you to come and renew old friendships. We will celebrate with good fellowship and testimonies, good music (Susan Homan Ceperley) and good preaching (Chad Higgins).
