We are thrilled to invite you to join the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home (MBCH) for a special celebration as we host the ribbon cutting for our new Day Haven facility. This launch marks an exciting new season for our ministry, allowing us to expand our reach and serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community.

- What: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Guided Tours, and Reception
- When: Thursday, September 24, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Guided tours begin at 3:15 p.m.; Ceremony at 4:00 p.m.; Refreshments to follow)

About Our Mission Missouri Baptist Children’s Home’s Day Haven is designed to expand our Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) ministry in Peculiar, building upon the strong foundation of our existing Country Haven ministry. Day Haven focuses on serving adults ages 18 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing:
- Expanded Community Capacity: Designed to accommodate up to 49 participants, significantly broadening our ability to support local families.
- A Supportive Environment: Offering a safe, Christ-centered space tailored to help each individual thrive, learn, and build meaningful connections.
- Holistic Development: Creating opportunities for personal growth, daily enrichment, and community engagement.
