Please except my personal invitation to an amazing morning, a free lunch and a free book. It’s been my privilege over the past couple of years to partner with Blackaby ministries international. Richard and I lead several conferences across North America each year. I’m sure like many of you the ministry of Henry Blackaby and his son and Richard has been used by God to have a profound impact on my life.

The vice president of Blackaby ministries is Rick Fisher. Rick is a close friend and a gifted Pastor and teacher. Recently Rick wrote a book with Richard entitled “Developing a powerfully praying church”. I can assure you there is no revitalization in a church without prayer. Today’s Church faces challenges and crises it can only overcome through prayer. In this book Richard Blackaby and Rick Fisher focus on the adjustments pastors and church leaders must make in their prayer life in order to see a rebirth of God-honoring, world-impacting churches across our nation.

Rick will be with me on Thursday, March 22 at First Baptist Church Basehor KS. The church is located just a couple miles west of the Kansas Speedway at 1410 N. 155th St., Basehor, KS 66007.

Beginning at 10 AM and continuing through 12:30 Rick will provide insights from his book on how we can help our church a become powerful prayerful church. I’ll also share a few insights we’ve learned recently about how God is revitalizing churches across North America including my one year that I just concluded last week as the interim/revitalizing pastor at First Baptist Basehor. At 12:30 we will provide a lunch at no cost to you. I realize your schedules are very busy. And I would not ask you to give up valuable time if I didn’t believe it was going to be valuable to you.

You’re welcome to bring a few people from your church as well and of course your spouse if she would like to come.

Please contact the church office at FBC Basehor by phone at (913) 724-1091 or email them at [email protected] to register the number you’ll be bringing with you so that we can provide appropriately for the meal and for the books.

I look forward to seeing you on Thursday, March 22.
