We held our annual Equip training on August 9th at Linden Baptist Church in the Clay-Platte association. We had over 50 attendees. We heard Omar Segovia tell about his work with Hispanics in this state. We also had a bookstore available and age level breakouts.
Our watchword is found in 1 Thessalonians 2:8 which says “Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.”
This verse reminds us that we delight to share with the whole world, not only the gospel of God, but our lives as well out of love—-not just pure obedience. What joy we have in making disciples of Jesus who live on mission.
