Author Denise George and the late Dr. Calvin Miller designed and taught for many years a writing course at Beeson Divinity School, Samford University, showing ministers how to write to publish and reach the world for Christ. Ministers can offer a wealth of knowledge to readers through published books and magazine articles.

In The Writing Minister, a one-day, information-packed seminar, Denise George will teach about the many writing and publishing opportunities available to today’s pastors, church leaders, ministry leaders, and other ministers of the gospel, focusing on how to:

* Step into the publishing world,
* Write and publish new material in books and magazines, and
* Adapt for publication previously written information, sermons, Bible studies, etc. from years of active ministry.

Jared Wilson will teach about platform and promotion as a writing minister, discussing how to:

* Build an online platform as a Christian author,
* Use social media graciously and effectively, and
* Engage in web promotion that honors God and promotes the gospel.

Jared C. Wilson is the Director of Content Strategy at Midwestern Seminary and Managing Editor of For The Church (ftc.co), roles he undertook in 2015 after nearly 20 years serving in church ministry. He is married to Becky, and they live north of Kansas City with their two daughters.
