I have good news to share, BRKC!
In the first six weeks of the fall semester, our staff and student leaders were able to connect with over 300 students, have 208 spiritual conversations, share the gospel 160 times, and lead 90 one-on-one discipleship meetings.
We are grateful for the opportunities God has given us thus far to bring the hope and peace of Jesus to college students.
As we press on with the semester, here’s two ministry needs that you can prayerfully considering partnering with us:
- We have had over 140 new students express interest in our Befriend-a-Student Program. We are needing individuals and families from our BRKC churches to come alongside a college student in intergenerational friendship. Learn more and indicate interest here – www.collegiateimpact.org/befriend-a-student-program
- Every Thursday evening our UMKC ministry hosts a dinner near campus and an average of 50 students (believers and nonbelievers) attend. We’re in need of BRKC churches to help provide meals for these. Perhaps your church has a group that would like to serve the students in this way. Learn more and sign up here – tinyurl.com/umkcdinner
One of our ministry values is connecting students and churches. There are multiple ways for churches of any size to partner with Collegiate Impact. I would love to come share with your church’s leadership, mission team, and/or congregation about these opportunities. Please email me indicating your interest in this, and we can discuss next steps – [email protected].
BRKC, we are truly thankful for your continued support of this ministry!
Because of the gospel,
Travis Hamm
