Dear Partners in Missions,

We have critical decisions to make and much celebrating to do at our Annual Meeting coming up Sunday, October 2, at First Baptist Blue Springs new campus, 1-70 and Little Blue Parkway!  We not only need to vote on our 2017 budget, slate of committee nominees, and new churches…but also amendments to our bylaws and Vision 2020 Grants.

We will have Business Q & A sessions on September 27th (Fellowship Greenwood, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.) before our Annual Meeting as well as at 4pm the afternoon of the Annual Meeting.  Please choose one or more to inform yourself about these important issues and proposals for moving forward together in BR-KC!  The bylaw amendments have already been considered and discussed for two consecutive Executive Board Meetings and the proposed amendments to our Vision 2020 Grant process will be explained at the Q & A sessions as well as available for your perusal online at our website.  The formal vote without further discussion will be taken during the celebration and worship time, 6:15-8:30 pm on October 2.

Regarding celebration, we will have great international foods and fellowship, missions and ministry displays at the Missions Fair from 5-6 pm.  Then, from 6:15 to 8:30 pm we will have dynamic praise and worship, celebration ethnic church choirs, video highlights, ministry interviews and testimonies!  You won’t want to miss out on celebrating God’s work in and through BR-KC churches and our ministry partners at First Baptist Blue Springs exciting new campus.

I hope to see you there!
