The mission of Rehope Market is to sell donated goods to fund the ongoing work of Restoration House, to provide a public platform to increase awareness of the work of Restoration House and of the dangers of human trafficking, and to demonstrate God’s love in our community. We have had a busy March as we moved into our new offices and are on target for a late spring launch of the online store. We are looking for people willing to join us in this exciting process. We are now sourcing donations of new and gently used women’s clothing. We will be freshening and cleaning every article prior to selling, so whenever possible, we appreciate that the clothing be washed or dry cleaned before donating. Donations can be brought to the Rehope Market office at Wornall Road Baptist Church, 400 West Meyer Boulevard, KCMO, 64113, Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If you would prefer to give financially to our startup expenses, you can donate to Restoration House and designate the funds to Rehope Market or we have a wish list on walmart.com and amazon.com that you can shop from. We are specifically still in need of a stacked washer and dryer, work tables, a mini tablet, and a shipping label printer.
We are also ready for volunteers to begin the work of processing the donations and preparing them for sale online. If this is something you would be interested in on a one time or regular basis, please contact our office. We have opportunities for everyone to help in some way!
