On July 1-12, a group of 13 people from the Blue River-Kansas City Baptist Association, in partnership with Noland Road Baptist Church, traveled to the Mai Ayni Refugee Camp in northern Ethiopia to work with unaccompanied minors. They partnered with an evangelical church that meets in a tent in the camp, and hosted VBS activities with the children of the camp. As with any international trip, there were many challenges and needs to be supported and prayed for during the preparation and the trip itself.
